1. Purpose of Donations
Ram Lal Vraddha Ashram is a charitable organization dedicated to providing care, shelter, and support for the elderly. All donations are utilized solely for the welfare and development of the ashram and its residents. Donations help us provide food, healthcare, clothing, shelter, and recreational activities to create a comfortable and dignified living environment.
Types of Donations Accepted
We gratefully accept donations in the following forms: Monetary Donations: Donations in cash, cheques, bank transfers, or digital payments (UPI, NEFT, IMPS, etc.) In-Kind Donations: Groceries and food items (rice, pulses, flour, cooking oil, etc.) Clothing (new or gently used, suitable for elderly residents) Medical supplies and medicines Furniture, bedding, and appliances Personal hygiene products (soaps, shampoos, adult diapers, etc.) Voluntary Services: Contributions in the form of time, such as volunteering to teach, entertain, or assist with daily care at the ashram.
3. Donation Procedure
To ensure transparency and accountability, donors are requested to follow these steps: Monetary Donations: Donations can be made through bank transfer, UPI, cheque, or in person at the ashram's office. Donors will receive an official receipt acknowledging the donation. In-Kind Donations: Contact the ashram administration to confirm the needs before delivering in-kind items. Acknowledgment receipts will be issued for all accepted in-kind donations.
4. Donation Receipts and Tax Benefits
All donations made to Ram Lal Vraddha Ashram are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Donors are requested to provide their full name, PAN card number, and contact details for issuing donation receipts and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
